WHAT HAVE THE FIRST MONTHS WITH THE KOSPRO LOGO ON YOU CHEST FELT LIKE?

Hi!

It has now been a proud couple of months wearing the Kospro logo on my chest. The first months have gone by not only with daily tasks but also getting to know what it's like to work in a small five-person construction startup. It's been nice to see how one's own insights and actions really matter in both small and big decisions of the company. In terms of work, the first couple of months have included project acquisition, advancing low-carbon research, and analyzing the construction market situation.

In just these two months, I've been able to see and learn a lot of new things. For example, I've been working with modular construction, seeing different projects and project models, and getting to know many top professionals in the field.

In the face of new challenges, the small work community has been a support and safety net. It has been nice to see that there is always one or more colleagues close enough to ask and confirm things. Often, we've also brainstormed together as a team. This has perhaps been the biggest plus for me in a five-person organization. A small company has also offered opportunities to take on various internal organizational tasks."

Kospro is a pioneer in reforming procurement in the construction industry. It has been eye-opening to see what it means to listen to and respond to customer needs. It is often said that a small company is a good place to work because of its flexibility, and that has been the case here. However, above all, it has been great to see how quickly and openly we have been able to respond to customers' changing needs and streamline their core functions through quality procurement. In general, I believe that in the challenging market situation of the construction industry, the need for more efficient procurement and the development of operating models is greater than ever.

The construction industry has been turbulent in recent years. Firstly, the overheating of the industry, then the availability issues and price increases of materials brought by the corona pandemic, and now most recently, the market's abrupt halt due to high interest rates, have all played a part in destabilizing the industry's stable operations. On the other hand, the industry has long been seen as very conservative and slow to change, only shifting when necessary. The question is, could the challenges of recent years be pushing the construction industry towards more efficient operations out of necessity?

Kospro is seriously, but not solemnly, working on this question and striving to develop and renew the industry. We believe that better, more honest, and more efficient procurement is key to the industry's development.

My start at Kospro has been inspiring, contrary to the general atmosphere in the industry. Every day I encounter cases from which I can learn a lot for the future.
